Kościelec (The Polish Matterhorn)

Kościelec is the "Polish Matterhorn". Its sharp, pyramidal shape rises in the very centre of the Gąsienicowa Valley, dividing it into two parts. Thanks to this location, it is one of the best viewpoints in the Tatras - standing on the summit, you feel as if you were floating above a landscape of lakes.

Difficulty: very difficult (no chains!)
